These terms are an agreement between you and Jeevan Bhathal, who runs Pluck.
Who can use Pluck
A family is set up by an adult. Kids use Pluck on their own phones only after a parent has linked that phone with a code, and only the game side of the app. By setting up a family you confirm you are the parent or legal guardian of the kids you add.
What Pluck is
Pluck helps families agree on chores and rewards. Coins, levels, streaks and badges exist only inside the app and have no monetary value. Rewards are promises between a parent and a kid; Pluck does not provide, ship or guarantee them.
Pluck Plus
Using Pluck requires an active subscription, bought through the App Store or Google Play. It starts with a free trial of 1 month where the store offers one, renews automatically at the price shown until cancelled in your store account, and follows the store’s refund rules. A subscription belongs to the family: every phone linked to it inherits the plan.
Your content
Quest names, reward names, notes and proof photos belong to you. You give Pluck permission to store and sync them between the phones in your family, and nothing else. Do not upload content that is unlawful or that you have no right to share.
Fair use
Do not try to gain access to another family, tamper with the service, or use it for anything but its purpose. We may unlink a phone or delete a family that does so.
Availability and liability
Pluck is provided as is. It works offline and syncs when it can, but we do not promise uninterrupted service or that no data will ever be lost. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for Pluck Plus in the previous twelve months.
Ending
You can stop at any time: the grown-up who set up the family can erase it, and any other grown-up can delete their own account (see the Privacy Policy). Erasing the family or deleting an account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play: cancel it in the store’s own subscription settings. We may end the service with reasonable notice on the parent side of the app.
